Maybe it's because the first contest episodes I bothered to watch were in early-to-mid Sinnoh, but I'm surprised at the high quantity of "Jessie cheats in a contest" scenes in your writeups. By Sinnoh, they're about the only time she doesn't cheat.
Really? Sounds interesting. Jessie has actually done better the times she played fair than the times she cheated, though she's never actually won.

Normally, episodes where a main character catches a new pokemon are pretty decent. This isn't a normal episode.
Also: why a Munchlax? A main character already has a Snorlax. Is Munchlax like really popular in Japan or something? Is this like how in America people asked "Why did they put Jigglypuff in SSB?" whereas in Japan it was an obvious choice? If the writers just wanted to advertise Gen IV, weren't there better choices than Munchlax, especially since there already was a Munchlax in the Deoxys movie?
