May's Egg-Cellent Adventure!
"You're giving me a pain, and I can't say where because kids watch this show!"
Score: 5/10

You have no idea what I do for you people. You have no idea how many puns about eggs I had to sit through for your benefit.

The heroes come across a farm, and when May mentions that she wants to visit it because it's so cute, two Voltorb appear and attack her. Brock muses that Voltorb don't attack people for no reason even though they have attacked people for no reason in almost every single appearance they have had. The farmers appear, including their daughter, Nicolette, who idolizes May for her contest skills, and because the heroes look so trustworthy, they invite them in for lunch, explaining that these are guard Voltorb. Her father, Christopher, explains to the heroes that he wants her to become a coordinator, but she refuses to leave the farm because she’s so unsure of herself.

May tells Nicolette that she should enter a contest, but she refuses because she can train on the farm, and challenges May's Munchlax with her Vileplume. May literally does not issue a single order for a solid minute, but Munchlax uses focus punch and solar beam at the last second and defeats it easily, despite having taken so much damage earlier.

Christopher mentions that the farm specializes in eggs, and agrees to show them some if they subtly provoke her into leaving by telling her stories of their travels, but she doesn't want to hear them. I don’t blame you, Nicolette. It’s like seventy percent filler.

Team Rocket leaves a huge egg by the farm and it would take too long to explain this sequence, so "Trojan Horse except with an egg." The heroes idiotically take a mysterious gigantic egg into the egg farm, so Team Rocket steals all of the eggs. Fortunately, Nicolette uses Vileplume to stun Team Rocket and petal dance to destroy their balloon, and the heroes manage to steal back the eggs.

As Team Rocket attempts to escape because they're now helpless and their plan has failed, Ash vindictively tells Pikachu to use quick attack to blast them off despite their no longer posing any kind of threat. Pikachu’s quick attack accidentally turns into a volt tackle, and it thus learns the move.

Congratulations, Pikachu! With your species’ low HP, that’s a move that will be completely useless to you.
