I have met very few of my actual friends at parties/class... tons of acquaintances and "hey you're that guy from that place," but friends? I get most of them from random coincidental meetings where we just click and become friends. And then those random friends have other friends/girlfriends/etc. that you meet over time by hanging out with them, and repeat recursively.
This, exactly. I've only met a handful of people I would consider real friends during my time here and none of them happened in thsat typical sit beside each other in class and start talking to each other way. Pretty much all random meetings where we ended up finding common interests and then deciding to hang out.
But I can't say I've made any "best" friends at University. The guys I'm closest to are still my group from back in high school.. and I'm in my 4th year now.
