I have no desire to watch the video, but I can tell you there are people that make this sort of lifestyle out of every fandom possible. This is just the most extreme example of "bronies".
I don't know; I watched a lot of Law and Order SVU, and know several other people who did. And yet I don't know anyone who was obnoxious about it--I don't know anyone who would go around saying "Dun Dunnn" after every dramatic statement. Or, for instance, OoT and FF7 were really popular for a while, but the most obnoxious thing the fans would do would be to declare their game the "best game of all time". It's not like people ran around reciting off-tune songs from the games. People would occasionally wear costumes, but such activity was usually limited to Halloween or anime conventions.
There's a difference between being an extreme fan of something, and making a meme out of something. What's going on in this video is more akin to Rickrolling (and frankly, would be funnier if they were just Rickrolling Pizza Hut).
