It isn't so good as to warrant all that. I caught an episode of Batman TAS last night, and hooooly crap, that show is still fantastic. My assessment is pretty similar to your assessment of FiM--it's not bad, but I feel no compulsion to go seek out more episodes. In particular, I can't really think of a good reason why I'd seek out TAS episodes over, say, Law and Order SVU. The most interesting parts of the TAS episode were the investigation and tracking and...oh what a plot twist: catwoman is actually in it to steal something, not help--all things that would be done better by SVU. And the bad parts were kind-of groan-worthy ("Somehow these machine guns never hit; I guess they must be the same guns given to James Bond villains.") It isn't so good as to warrant all that. I caught an episode of Batman TAS last night, and hooooly crap, that show is still fantastic. Bronies need to get on Batman's level, or at least watch his cartoon. This has pretty much been my opinion since day one... minus the Batman stuff, since it's been a while.
