You do not piss against the wall, you have to hit it at a slight angle.
pissing on the wall at an angle = pissing on the wall
like how stabbing a man in the back = stabbing a man
Either way, I was using a urinal yesterday and this topic came to mind, so I started aiming at different spots. Pissing directly at the wall was surprisingly fine, the piss just hit the wall and slid down to the drain. It just got me thinking "how the hell does anybody get splashback?". You'd literally have to be inside of the urinal to get piss on yourself.
It was one of the urinals that went right to the floor though, so aiming at the drain I couldn't test for knee splashback like Monk was saying... but still, you're just not supposed to aim at the drain. >_>
