Eh, I don't think so, but I'd have to re-watch it again. I do know, however, that they very explicitly cannot actively locate something outside of space and time on their own. That's why the separate anti-spiral universe was such a big deal. No matter how powerful they were, they couldn't find it. Which assured the anti-spiral victory in the past war.
That's also why the fake Nia thing was such a big problem. Since they couldn't find it on their own, they needed to lock onto Nia's ring to get to the anti-spiral universe. But the fake Nia interfered, preventing them from doing so. If they could accurately locate things outside space and time, they would have been able to ignore all that and go straight to the anti-spiral universe with no trouble.
