"Bonus Experience: Bonus Experience can be spent at any time to level up Stats or Abilities (though not Techniques). Each player may spend at most 100 Bonus Experience per twenty-four hours of time in-game. The amount of Bonus Experience each player can spend is subject to sudden increases based on large acquisitions of Bonus Experience."

"Stats: Stats represent your raw physical and mental traits that are applied to everything you do. They generally require a large investment of experience to improve, compared to Abilities. A value of 10 is considered 'average' in a stat for a human, but the scaling system of stats is exponential as they move further away from 10.

-Some Techniques have minimum Stat requirements before they can be learned, but Abilities never will.

-Bonus Experience can be used to increase Stats."

"Abilities: Abilities represent one's mastery of a specific art, trade, or proficiency. They can generally be improved quickly from a low Rank, but true mastery of an Ability requires considerably more time and training. A Rank of 5 is considered the base value for being proficient enough in an Ability to use it with some level of efficacy.

-Many Abilities have Sub-Abilities that become available to train in past a certain Rank.

-Most Techniques require a minimum Rank in one or more Abilities in order to learn or discover them.

-Bonus Experience can be used to increase Abilities."

"Techniques: Techniques are specific skills that can be used, powers of either a physical nature, mental nature, or concerned with the mysterious ways of NP.

-Most require a certain Stat value or Ability Rank in order to discover, but many also have special requirements in order to discover and use them.

-Bonus Experience cannot be used to improve Techniques at will, but there may be another way..."

"Weapon Repair: Most weapons will wear down and break over time if they are not properly maintained. Although some weapons cannot be repaired, most, such as the Fencing Saber, can be fixed in some way. The Fencing Saber, for example, requires a Sword Polishing Kit to repair. You can probably find some of these at an Antique Dealer, though they have a strange tendency to be on sale in many less expected locations as well."

"Health Recovery:

---20 Health/8 hours of rest in a poor bed/shelter

-Meals

---2 Health/Meager meal"

"Meals: A meal can be consumed at most once every four hours for the purpose of health recovery."

"NP Recovery: Although the stat known as 'NP' is still largely a mystery to you, you appear to be recovering it at a rate of about 1 NP/5 minutes."

"Mental Stability Recovery:

-Natural Healing
---20 MS/24 hours"
