The problem is that it's become crystal clear that nintendo beats everything. Apparently even characters that used to pwn Link.
Once again, Game contest. Fallout 3 beat a Nintendo big dog last year and came very close to another. Skyrim would do the same. Hell, they may have fallen off recently but FFX and Chrono Trigger would still do some damage against big Nintendo titles.
