Hold the phone, he's doing Dodongo's Cavern as an adult now, I missed how he skipped it as a kid and how he still had bombs? How did that happen?
He "doesn't" have bombs. The game just assumes you do and gives you them when you become an adult. Without a bomb bag though, he can't actually have any.
