PS1 games can't get HD remakes, it wouldn't translate well. They'd have to remake FF7 entirely. Which of course all the fanboys want, but Square is being highly opposed to the idea.
5 minutes after the announcement of an FFVII remake, every single fanboy will be vehemently against it.
