They aren't forced to do anything. In VA if they want an abortion then they have to get an ultrasound.
Is it a law I agree with? not really. But nobody is forcing anything
um...people are objecting only to the ultrasounds in the context of them being forced if you want an abortion. so yeah...it isn't a mandatory "everyone must do this" but the argument isn't "i am against ultrasounds" it is "i am against being forced to get an invasive vaginal ultrasound if I want an abortion"
And I'm against having to take an unnecessary and expensive gun safety course in order to purchase a handgun!
