i mean seriously the underlying point of satan there and being evil is that he basically goes 'god is a douche'. he wouldn't be able to be evil with the apple of knowledge if god hadn't created it in the first place. you can say that he's jealous of humanity having free will yet angels not, but that makes you wonder why in that case god didn't just throw 'em a bone too. and he apparently thinks god doesn't know everything, isnt' all powerful, and can be kinda dumb at times (see: the apple). hell he actually goes this a step further with Job, who literally had a good life destroyed by god to win a bet. satan didn't do anything, god just figured that the guy loved him so much that he could kill his family, burn his house down, and turn him into a disease ridden hobo and it'd be alright.
so overall his point basically comes down to 'why are you making things that you should know will only backfire on you, and why are you such a self-centered douche?' the entire basis of satan being evil is that god is good, so once you start questioning the latter, well.....
