(1)Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
(1)Hermione Jean Granger

Wow, now this is a powerhouse match.

Let's see...

In terms of depth, Albus wins fairly easily. Hermione is fun and all, but she's a fairly static character, and quite a bit of a Mary Sue (Rowling even admitting that Hermione was a proxy for herself) with a collection of Deus Ex Machina moments. Albus gets basically all of his depth in book 7, but he does get quite a bit in the end. And I like how this guy who was depicted as some "benevolent god" for six books, ends up looking like Delita Hyral--someone who uses and manipulates and asks too much of people.

Humor/Style: Hermione is really quite good in this cateogry; I'm drawn to her as a bookworm, and her OCD is really quite funny. But I really think Dumbledore has this category locked down as well. He is frequently one of the most hilarious characters in the books, and he's long been in the running for most stylish character in the books.

Screen time: Hermione gets a lot more of it.

Relateability: Hermione is certainly someone I can identify with, and can put myself in that role.

Hmm...yeah, Dumbledore just wins quite convincingly in the areas that matter to me more.
