95. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 – Ending Theme
User: FL81

Link I Used:

First Impressions: Did you guys know I don’t like saxophones? Because I don’t.

Thoughts: Blargh. This might be okay if I had a tolerance for saxophones. Unfortunately I do not, and three fourths of this darned thing is full of it. The rest does not even have the decency to be good. It makes me wish I could have spent that four minutes listening to almost anything else. The section at the end is even worse, amazingly.

Rating: 2.5/10

94. Persona 3 – Mass Destruction (Reincarnation Version)
User: swordz9
Link:

First Impressions: BABY BABY BABY BABY YEAAAAAAAAAAAH

Thoughts: I cannot believe it, but I vastly prefer the original to this. And I am not a huge fan of the original. The higher pitched female vocals are not a credit to the team. Nor is the length of the track. It also suffers from being rap. Most rap tracks I do not like, and this is not an exception. Usually I am fond of Persona tracks, but this one, absolutely not.

Rating: 2.5/10

93. We Love Katamari – Blue Orb
User: Ed Bellis
Link:

First Impressions: Could someone tell this track to please stop stuttering?

Thoughts: I might actually like this if it consisted of some of the mellow techno effects and the vocals. The problem? It has more than that. Of main annoyance is how it is broken up the entire time with small pauses. That technique can be used fairly well, but it is done so often here that it is not a relaxing listen at all. I felt on edge, as if I wanted to grab it around the throat and throw it off a cliff for making me tense. What a jerk piece.

Rating: 3/10

92. G-Darius – B.T. Dutch
User: FL81
Link:

First Impressions: Can I have Adam back?

Thoughts: G-Darius continues to live up to its tradition of odd music. This one is a miss for me though. It has a feeling of being all over the place, which does not sit well with me in this case. The obnoxious “you-you-you” doesn’t help either. Then you get that weird gasping and that makes it even more awkward. The only redeeming part is a few of the effects near the beginning, and they go away far too quickly.

Rating: 3.5/10

91. Mega Man X3 – Gravity Beetle Stage
User: Master Epyon
Link:

First Impressions: Ugh Mega Man X music.

Thoughts: Here is something Kenri and I tend to agree on. We are not fond of Mega Man X music. Feel free to throw stones at me for that opinion. For me, they are loud, unappealing, and lack the catchy rhythms that went along with the Mega Man tracks I liked. This is no exception. It is not ear-bleedingly bad, but it is not good at all. The worst part is I actually want to play Mega Man X games, but I am not looking forward to their soundtracks.

Rating: 3.5/10
