I think you're confusing the elimination of bureaucracy with unregulated. The US markets absolutely want regulation in terms of a judicial system to enforce contracts, standardization of systems, and government protection of assets/property. What it does not want is idiots in government who don't understand the financial world passing legislation that impedes the markets.
