Even the Scandinavian countries that liberals gush about are all capitalist.
They're social democracies. Capitalist systems with strong social programs, welfare states, and safety nets. Leading to VASTLY lower economic inequality than in lots of other countries.
Pure unregulated capitalism and pure socialism are both idiotic, naive, destructive policies.
Wow, lower income equality? That's cuz everyone gets crushed in taxes. Would you like to pay 60% of your income for a bunch of freeloaders? Hell no. I work my ass off. Why the hell would I work so much if I wasn't gona get paid very much? Where's the incentive. Those countries may be comfortable, but they aren't vibrant in the world scene. Without the protection of the United states, they'd be easy pickins
