Even if you don't support socialism you still have to acknowledge taxes in the United States are extremely low, we're the only first world nation without a Universal Healthcare System. taxes in america are not extremely low. federal + state + property + sales taxes = damn near 50% gone. It's really that the US has a high income tax and a low sales tax compared to other countries. So while in other countries people are paying less in income taxes, they are generally paying more in sale taxes. that doesnt change that it's hilariously wrong to say that america has "extremely low" taxes That is true tho.
