Every time I tried to dump this girl she would get suicidal and beg to stay. I figured it was bullshit but didn't want to risk it, especially since she has a kid. After chickening out multiple times and caving to her pleas, I devised a plan.

I made a new email account and posted an ad on craigslist, then emailed myself back and forth to make it look like I was cheating. I thought up the most disgusting shit I could and put it in the emails. Then I got a new phone, left the emails on the old phone, and put it in an empty duffel bag in the closet.

A few weeks later she was packing to go to the beach with her mom and I purposely gave her that same duffel bag. It worked perfectly, I acted surprised yet unremorseful when she confronted me, then she decided to leave - without threatening to kill herself.

I thought it would be a guilt-free method of ending the relationship, but I did end up feeling bad about it.
