Everyone says this but I can not for the life of me figure out what it would accomplish.

Yay everyone thinks everyone wants one.

I mean if they did it for a week or two and then released a million of them, that would make a little bit of sense. But what's the point of making everyone want one if you're not even making enough for the people that genuinely wanted one before you tricked everyone else anyway? They didn't raise the price, so it's not that.

The only explanation that makes sense is that they just have no clue what they're doing.



Because this is common practice in the toy market, Nintendo think of themselves as a toy company and believes that videogames are toys for children.

Also yes Nintendo really do have no idea what they're doing
