That's the problem with thinking that people need to pay for other people's "basic rights." There's a limit, and once that limit is reached the entire system begins to collapse. If you could afford a $370k house but not the taxes, you couldn't afford a $370k house. That's why Illinois is leaking productive taxpayers, to Florida apparently. Yeah, I don't plan on staying in Illinois long.
