Topic	What other game series has done what Kingdom Hearts is trying to do?

The first 2 (3 if you count the spin-off) were based on a storyline, but the third main game is gonna be revamped with completely new characters. I Iove when games do that. If the plot and gameplay is a good idea, I have no problem rebooting it with new characters and setting.
