Survivor Series 2001

When I learned I was watching an Invasion PPV i drank a lot to forget about this.

I keep forgetting, who's the guy doing the Boston Crab in the video packages to open WWE shows.

They're trying to make us feel like we're watching the Apocalypse Now of WWF PPVs, so given how good Apocalypse Now is this should be a top 50 of all time.

WWF EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH:

Christian Vs. Al Snow

Al Snow's getting some offense in early and now Christian gts to stomp all over and Teddy Long's the ref for this one. Side Russian legsweep followed by a cover by Christian.

Christian with an aggressive assault on Al Snow. Christian with the upper hand and Snow's head bounces off the top turnbuckle and now he's getting choked. Snow's caught Christian and here come the headbutts.

Counters by Snow and a kick to the face, kickout by Christian and he gets pummeled in the corner, Powerbomb by Snow and only a two count. Christian's leg gets pulled and now snow's flying and Christian reverses.

Close encounters here and Snow with the Snowplough, FOOT ON THE ROPE! Christian's circling the ring, Snow chases him down. Christian quickly picks up the pin soon after.

Everyone on team alliance suspects Stone Cold is turning on the alliance. They all scared and people chanting what.

Loads and loads of people are scared of losing their jobs. Regal is taunting Mr McMahon and he's still feuding with Tajiri apparently. Regal choking out Torrie, so hot well not really.

New theme for Regal, sounds more menacing.

CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH:

William Regal Vs. Tajiri (c)

Tajiri has what JR likes to call educated feet. EARLY TARANTULA! Ref breaks it up and and there's the elbow! Tajiri's got to have one of the more predictable movesets.

Oh my, Tajiri's neck got stuck between the ropes. Regal's already bleeding from the nose. Powerbomb and pin, wait what already?

Torrie comes out to go all poor tajiri, Regal knocks the hell out of her. Timmy White is outraged.

Edge and Test have the same hair, but that's about about it as far similarities goes. Keibler's legs are better than her face, though her face ain't half bad.

Coach is interviewing Edge and we're going through the predictable Qs and Edge is still chill.

WWF INTERCONTINENTAL AND UNITED STATES TITLE UNIFICATION MATCH:

Test (c) Vs. Edge (C)

Edge still has a terrible theme and they lock up. Another tie up between the two and Edge is controlling the positioning. Test though's ready to try and overpower him.

Crossbody by Edge and Test powes out quickly enough. test is stomping and off to the outside we go. Dropkick by Edge and Test is on the backpedal.

Back to the ring they go and Edge's in trouble again, swinging neckbreaker and Edge's getting back into this. Test is reeling from a series of punches, Irish whip, kick to the head, hotshot on the ropes by Test.

Big strikes by Test. Oh dear god, Test is applying some wear down moves, its all over! how can Edg survive a knee to the back! Edge with a dropkick off the second rope and Test replies with a bodyslam.

Edge misses a crossbody and now Test puts him up. Edge's going with a victory roll but Test hangs on. Jump by Test right into a missile dropkick.

Couple more nearfalls and EDGE PULLS DOWN TEST! Compressing the spine and Edge GETS SPEARED BY TEST! KICKOUT!

Edge misses the spear and Test kills him with a pump handle slam, going for the powerbomb, RANA AND A SPEAR! This match is still somehow not over yet. Rollup AND EDGE WINS THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE!
