Now in adulthood I've found I only need to provide about 50% of the overall alcohol. About 1 beer per person and 1 handle per 20 people, and the guests will bring plenty to fill in the rest and have left overs. Ultimately it's your party, and it's your fault if it ends up being weak or disappointing for some or all guests due to lack of alcohol. Or food, or ice, or whatever. ffmasterjose posted... But if its BYOB and they didn't bring shit, that one's kind of their fault. Like this. You can say this all you want, but you can't avoid the fact that if alcohol runs out, people leave your party and it's less fun. Same if they get hungry and leave.
