It's even more ironic given that you chose to bring Tolkien into this, who actually DID high fantasy and provides a pretty massive contrast with Harry Potter which should have easily illustrated the difference between high and low fantasy for you. If this is your argument, I do have a few criticisms: Umi's argument was based on ignorance and, rather than familiarize himself with the terms being used, he chose to double-down on his wrong position.
