| ParanoidObsessive 08/10/17 4:35:28 PM #8: | Supposedly Stan Lee tells the story that Gwen was always supposed to be Peter's One True Love, and MJ was never meant to be anything more than a bit of a side distraction from the main love interest, but that once they started writing MJ, she wound up having so much personality that she basically sort of won out in their minds, so they decided she was the default love interest instead.
