People tend to do this because they think watching streams installs a bunch of crap on your computer. And they would be right...if it was 2008. Nowadays the only thing you need to install is Java, which most people have on their computer anyways. Plus I wouldn't use VLC anyways, it seems to be a giant memory hog. I don't know what they have done to it but I honestly prefer the video player that comes with Windows 10. Never had a single problem with it and it seems to play just about anything I throw at it. --- I am a senior software engineer. If you see me post here, I am tired of writing TPS reports. ...
