| Mead 09/07/17 2:37:38 AM #6: | No. I appreciate everything the director has said about staying true to the source material but I really don't see how that can be done in a 2-3 hour film with the kind of budget constraints they are undoubtedly going to give him. I think he will end up disappointing both fans of the series and newcomers as it will likely be too departed from the story from the games but also overly convoluted in comparison to most films in the genre. This is yet another case where I think a TV series would make a lot more sense than a film.
