My condolences and sympathies since I lost my 20 something nephew a couple of months ago (throat cancer that was caught too late). I'm not going to give you platitudes like 'you'll get over it' or some such thing since I still haven't (saw a name tag with my nephew's name yesterday and haven't gotten over the coincidence). All I can say is that you might, eventually, come to terms with your father's death (which I did when my father and father in law died within nine months of each other) but in your own way. There's always hope out there, even if we're in the darkest places at the time and can't see it.
