Topic	my father died just today....I've been a mess since then

Because unlike you, he's an established member of this board's community and is therefore sharing his grief with people he knows and considers to be friends, in hopes that he'll receive a suitable degree of support (and also just because sharing grief helps even if you don't get much back).
