Green diamonds are infinite to my knowledge, if you go back into a stage you've beaten, you can still collect the ones you did previously. Unfortunely there isn't a tracker per world/level but since the only thing to track would probably be yarn, relics and tokens per world maybe that's why they don't have it. I have seen some people mention they would like to have a tracker though and can definitely see a good argument for one. In terms of comparisons to other similar games? It's on BK levels for me. BK is one of my top fav platforming collectathons. BK has more content but Hat definitely has more charm imo (and that's saying a lot). The OST is fantastic and the boss fights are so incredibly fun and memorable. I def place it higher than the 3D marios, but the marios lack things that I value a lot. I'm glad you decided to give Hat a try!
