Its not like moral veganism really has a foot to stand on. Animals will die in the production of food, no matter what youre making. Its going to happen. I have no qualms with a person being vegan, but moral veganism really is kind of short sighted. Fewer die when you don't eat them or the things they produce. Animals will die for a number of reasons all the time.
