Topic	so, hot dog buns. how do they cut them?

After baking, since this slit has oil in it, then what happens is that the baking does not fully close up the slit made. I might be wrong, but I think this happens as the dough passes through a multiple lane conveyor belt because if you look at how the buns are packaged, the slits in one column of buns face the slits in the next column of buns.
