| transience 11/24/17 8:39:11 PM #1: | we've had a few topics that have bled over into deeper discussions lately so I think a catch-all would be good for a couple of weeks until it purges. as always, be sure to mark spoilers for Layton and the DGS games! Layton should probably be included but we've run into issues with that before so let's tread lightly there, at least for this topic. I got to thinking today.. what cases would be considered "mainline"? I'd go with: (bold - for sure) (not bold - at least somewhat debatable) Fey trilogy: 1-1 -> 1-2 -> 1-3 -> 1-4 -> 1-5 -> 2-2 -> 2-4 -> 3-1 -> 3-4 -> 3-5 Apollo trilogy: 4-1 -> 4-4 -> 5-1 -> 5-4 -> 5-5 -> 6-1 -> 6-3 -> 6-5 Edgeworth.. duology?: 1-3 -> 1-4 -> 1-5 -> 2-2 -> 2-3 -> 2-4 -> 2-5 AAI is tough. on the right day, I might just throw all of AAI1 out and just say AAI2 is all that matters. --- xyzzy ...
