I mean it is a made up ability to they can just say that it kills the user to use it like that but it doesn't really feel like something that is so powerful that it should be lethal to use it. Keep in mind we see Kylo and Rey just casually talking to each other through the Force across a similar distance so it isn't distance along that is a problem. --- This was not the best year for my bracket.
