I thought the idea was dumb at first -- but mainly because I didn't realize Iris would write it anonymously. Barry's statement at the end was pretty dumb, but I'm willing to suspend my disbelief that it worked. Especially since I think the idea was to find out where DeVoe's been rather than where he is now. Sure, people could be trolling them.
