Seemingly just for the crossover like they did with Ray this year, but who knows. They're gonna need a new spin-off eventually, lol. Apparently this will be the first ever live-action portrayal of Batwoman. Also seems to confirm Black Lightning remains separate like they said it would.

Oh right and the CW also announced the fall schedule, with Supergirl moving to Sunday and Arrow moving to Monday, with Black Lightning moving up to a fall premiere.

In other CW comic book show news, iZombie is confirmed to be ending with next season.

I gotta catch up on like 80% of this current Arrow season Ive seen nothing but negative reception for. This is pretty neat though and it was only a matter of time considering all the other Gotham villains and name drops the series has done. I just hope they get better writers. S1-2 and 5 are pretty great, but the show is legitimately bad at times with all these pointless drama and breakups they keep throwing in. Black Lightning probably has 1 more good season before it gets hit by the same crap that hurt pretty much all the other CW superhero shows after 2 seasons

I know at the very least Arrow's getting a shake-up on the writing staff for next season.

Whats hardest for me to believe is people saying S6 of Arrow is worse than the latest Flash season because The Flash is so unbelievably bad right now

I'm still watching Flash every week although I recognize it has issues.

Arrow I read a recap of and then decide if it's worth the headache of watching or not.

Did they ever mention or bring back that mummy kid they had on the team? I agree though Arrows team does suck and he should honestly just cut basically all of them. Im fine with Diggle sticking around, Felicity or Curtis on tech support and making Thea or Roy part of the team again. They dont need anybody else.

This is friggin' awesome! I thought it was about the show Gotham when I read the title but this is just as good.

Not that I particularly hate this, but everyone has been clamoring for Nightwing much more than anyone did for Batwoman. They've already introduced Bludhaven, so no Nightwing is just dumb to me, unless they're looking to randomly have a new crossover LGBT character each season.

For a proper BoP, you need Oracle and Black Canary at a minimum, and ideally Huntress. If I was running it, I'd try to get Catwoman and Zinda Blake in the lineup too.

Unfortunately, the Arrowverse Black Canary and Huntress are both already established and not exactly usable. Huntress because she went full villain, and BC because Dinah is just the worst.

Zinda Blake, Manhunter, Batwoman, Oracle and an oddball member like a Barda or something is the ideal line-up for a Birds of Prey team. Canary may be the icon, but there's no use for her.

Tbh I foresee either Laurel or Dinah leaving Arrow with this idea in mind. I think Laurel would be a more interesting choice for Birds of Prey though. And they could introduce a new Huntress based more off the New 52 style as a superspy or whatever.

Arrow has been legitimately worse than season 4 this season. It's just been absolute garbage.

Flash has had a weaker season with dodgy writing for sure but its been no where near as bad.

Sounds like an AMAZING Arrow season. Im not completely caught up on Flash, but The Thinker probably has the dumbest plan in the entire Arrowverse so far lmao

I'm alright with Thinker's plan, but man. Team Flash is super bad about all of it.

Arrow hasn't been worse than season 4. There is nothing in Arrow this season worse than the absolute lows of season 4, except for maybe the William stuff at the start of the season.

S4 Team Flash aka everybody immediately jobs if they even do anything at all while CW pretends Iris contributes anything other than being Barrys waifu. They were all so bad or poorly used literally Ralph is the best character on the show right now

I've enjoyed some of the past few episodes of Arrow, certainly a lot better than The Flash has been.

Everything with NTA is worse than 99% of season 4 and its not even close.

The only thing that was worse in season 4 was Felicity's legs healing to let her walk out on Oliver.

Also amazingly Felicity is one of the parts of the show that has been most improved this season which makes it also kinda bizarro-world-bad-writing.

I actually liked Gotham's finale well enough. It was more of the crazy nonsense I came to expect. I think the setup for next season is pretty incredible though. They're going balls out.

Haven't watched Arrow yet, but I've heard to temper my expectations.

I think my issue getting in the way of enjoying Gotham is... I don't really like anyone.

I can't stand Barbra and wonder if there's anyone besides the writers of Gotham who like her.
I liked both Penguin and Riddler once upon a time but I'm over them.
Jermone was fine but Jerimiah sucks.
Lee isn't the same character week to week so I have no idea what to think of her.

Bruce/Selina and Gordon/Harvey are still fine but they don't really excite me either.

I think I'm just watching out of an obligation at this point.

Not technically Arrowverse, but Riverdale's season was pretty incredible. Lots of crazy shit, especially towards the end, and they make use of cheesy schlock in all the best ways. Highly recommend.

Wow, just watched Arrow.

Man, that was a pretty decent setup. At least they had something interesting for the midseason finale. When it comes back after break they should be able to pick up and wrap the season up with a satisfactory conclusion.
