Can someone give me a summary of why people are mad?
I dont play the Battlefield games so Im not familiar with whatever is going on
Abridged Version: BFV makes some massively questionable choices in an attempt to allow women with prosthetic arms to be playable. When gamers spoke up about them the BF team called them 'uneducated' and gave the 'if you don't like it don't buy it' line among other things. Gamers decided to not buy it.
I've noticed that people who use the 'if you don't like it don't buy it' do so seeming to expect that people will buy it and then get utterly surprised when people opt to do the latter.
I say it's pretty stupid, I mean who cares what the character looks like? It's first person anyway. People are always looking for a way to bash EA (despite Act deserving it just as much), but this is a pathetic reason to dislike a game. Only idiots could somehow manage to tie it to SJW.
As someone who has family that fought in WW2, I care. I care that the developer of a series that I've enjoyed over the last decade has decided that the screeching of SJWs is more important than making an attempt at an authentic WW2 game. It's insulting when you get told that you're "uneducated" for wanting a game that wasn't based on lies. ---
