For it to sound like the 90s, Stan Bush would have had to change his musical style at all since the mid-80s and he hasn't. His biggest hits were his songs for the Transformers & Kickboxer films, The Touch and Never Surrender respectively, that he just...kinda seems to still be doing the same thing. Which is comforting, in its own way! It's nice to know that there's someone still out there making cheesy 80s montage songs and you always know what you're going to get when you play a Stan Bush song: Something inspiring, with lyrics so vague you can apply them to any hero or group. You're going to break the chains of whatever and defeat whoever, woo! Not to say I dislike the song, but it was a last minute addition when I couldn't find anything else & I'm as surprised as you are that it made it even half as far as it did. --- "That's life.
