Basically the same thing happened to God The Devil and Bob, an erican cartoon canceled after one episode cause of butthurt Christians That lasted three episodes on NBC. But it also had awful ratings, so I think its cancellation was imminent. It's a shame nobody was watching it. It's a great example of a mature adult animated series that didn't need to resort to edgy, shock humor to be good. And it taught Christian values. The show actually was in the Christian spirit but Christians didn't pay attention to the plot so they didn't see it.
