Song Name: Good Girl
Song Origin: Carrie Underwood

I've actually heard quite a few Carrie Underwood songs. I'm not entirely sure why, but I briefly made an attempt to follow the careers of a few American Idol contestants (her, Adam Lambert, some other guy...Josh something-or-other, I don't even care to look him up as he was basically just a second-rate Adam Lambert.)

Honestly, I'm not sure why I listened to her. I can't actually name a song of hers that I highly enjoy (Blown Away is mildly amusing as I do like a good revenge song, but the child abuse makes it difficult to laugh about using a natural disaster as a murder weapon).

Anyway, I've always been bothered by the first verse of this song:

I bet you I can tell you
What youre thinkin' about
You'll see a good boy
Gonna give you the world
But hes gonna leave you cryin'
With your heart in the dirt

So the "good girl" is only thinking about seeing a boy? So Carrie Underwood is determined to destroy a hypothetical relationship? I'm probably missing something, but then, I don't like this song enough to look into it any further.

[FINAL NOTES: James Durbin is who I was trying to think of, not Josh anyone. Apparently James is now the lead singer of Quiet Riot, so I guess things are working out rather well for him.]
