I feel like I could turn on a randomly selected 50s pop song and find some commentor explaining that it really set the foundation for post hardcore music. ....I'm not even sure I'm exagerating anymore. decides to Google "50s Pop Songs" and check a YouTube video of whatever the fourth listed song is. "Standing On The Corner" by The Four Lads. ...Well, I was happier before listening to that, but no one has tried finding any way to connect it to hardcore anything, so that's...something. coughs Anyway, this song isn't bad and I wouldn't mind hearing a bit more of her work. YouTube started playing "Anything" automatically and I have no real complaints about it--bit too repetitive, but I love whatever that...beep-y instrument is in the background, so I can't complain about it. I'm not sure how far it would have gone. My first instinct is "about the same as this song", but having only heard it once and without trying to have a strong opinion on it, I may be undervaluing it.
