Never would've hoped it would even get to that age when I first started looking for a better job around age 22, but here we are. I don't really know that applying to non-local areas is doing much good though. I guess it works for some people but the way I look at it is you're just adding another obstacle to your candidacy. Of course it depends on your field and how big the market is where you're at, but I know for me that if I can't even get a software job in the Denver/Boulder area I have no hope anywhere else.
