Im honestly just so tired of everything. Whats even the point of continuing to waste time applying for shit if I dont get anything meaningful from it all.
Did you Google what I said? You can work a job for income while finding something meaningful. You're the one that decided to go to college to get a writing degree, dude.
I did, but my problem is bigger.
My original plan was to work in Florida in a dead end job until January, when Id have enough money to move away to LA, where Id work in the television/film industry and gradually meet people to develop my projects.
But now I have to put that on hold. I cant even stay in Florida an extra two weeks. I need to leave right away by the end of November. The longer I wait, the harder its going to be for me to get any sort of job in the industry I want. But I cant do any of that if Im not in LA, and I cant go there if I dont have money, and I wont have that if I have to leave early.
Your problem isn't bigger. You just think you're special. You're not special. Get a job like the rest of us while you work toward your unrealistic dream of being in the brutal industry you want.
I've been telling him for a long time that he should go back to his master's program to get his teaching degree so that he can at least have a stable job to achieve his dream with. He's only thinking in the immediate short term and its actually costing him more time than if he'd just finished his master's. ---
