Ah. Considering my love of cartoon animals, I assumed you were making a gamble on a combination of nostalgia and cuteness in hopes of getting an overly high ranking & it just didn't quite pay off.



And on a note of high quality modern VGMs that I don't connect with, it's only appropriate that the last song be followed with this:

Another song that my opinion of fluctuates wildly. The first time I heard it, I absolutely despised everything about it; an old-fashioned song quoting the Lord's Prayer? That's just gathering a bunch of traits I hate and throwing them together.

The second time, I went into the song expecting to hate it... but now that I knew what I was in for, I could better appreciate its beauty. Still not really my thing, but beautiful and I should be more open-minded and try new things and blah blah blah.

Third time, I...didn't care as much. I'd already burned through every possible emotion related to the song and its subject matter, leaving only indifference.

Not sure if I feel like this is too high or too low for the song's placement, but after bouncing between the bottom three and the top 50%, it seems to have wound up here.


[FINAL NOTES: I do see the appeal, but definitely not my type of thing, no. Coincidentally, that's how I feel about the Civilization series too: I'm not into the 4x genre (or any form of strategy game, excepting for Japanese Strategy RPGs), but I can vaguely appreciate the brilliance of the series.]
