And while it wasn't intentional and I hadn't noticed it before, there is something oddly appropriate with the timing of the next song. Red Sam was cut for being too religious and dealing with suicide, now we're eliminating songs dealing with religion and suicide in back-to-back eliminations.

I think I've done like five different write-ups to this and have wound up deleting all of them. They've ranged from being somewhat goofy (not as goofy as some write-ups, but still sillier and more off-topic than the subject matter warrants), to pleading with you to not make me do this write-up at all, to being concerned about if I should consider this nomination a bit of a warning sign and getting physically ill worrying about you, to very serious notes about people I've known who killed themselves.

I've disregarded all of those for various reasons.

As for the song itself... well, if I ever want to feel sad and reminisce about the dead, this song certainly accomplishes that. I have to give it some credit for all the emotions and memories it was able to spark.
