I like Pokemon, but something about this singer's voice rubs me the wrong way. Letting YouTube autoplay go, it started playing "Together" (first intro of Diamond and Pearl) as the next song and that song would have done better. The singer doesn't bother me as much (though she's not exactly my favorite), the references to assorted Pokemon attacks are worth a chuckle, and the refrains of "Yay yay yay yay!" are infectiously cheerful. It's cute and works for what it is. Saikou... just isn't as cute. frankly. [FINAL NOTES: I enjoy it more now than I did on the first three listens. Previously, this song was in 189th place, so it made a pretty decent leap.] [FINAL-ER NOTES: Actually this has gotten stuck in my head quite a bit since this topic started and I'd like to move it up a bit (my first instinct is probably #159), but like I said on the last song I wanted to move up, I'm standing by keeping the list as it is now.] ==================================================== --- "That's life.
