Long Version: I'm always up for finding some 80s pop songs that I've never heard before, and kinda surprised this song feels new to me. Especially since it was featured in a GTA game--unsurprisingly I just stuck to the classic rock station, so there are a lot of songs on that soundtrack I never heard. Love the vocals, the song is...smoother than anything else on this list? That feels like an adjective I've heard used to describe R&B/Soul music before. I think. I'd like to hear more music of this style. Problem is, well, I really can't connect to the lyrics. They're sung perfectly, sure, but when you have absolutely no interest in sex.... well, it's catchy enough to be worth listening to anyway, but it's never going to be one of my favorites. The Rod Stewart version (featuring Ronald Isley) still gets played, but the original just dropped off the radio completely once Rod's version started getting played.
