...that answer does give the title symbolic significance ...

I don't think I ever said repetition was inherently bad (and apologize if I did so), I just meant that I personally don't like it when I feel like a song has repeated something too many times. It's an entirely subjective bias that may not have any basis on reality. And I'm sure there are several songs that I like that are more repetitive from an objective standpoint.

And I'd be more inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt on that point, if she didn't immediately add the following:

https://twitter.com/sza/status/919848924302553088

"Aww that's jus the title love not the breakdown lol . My titles usually have more to do w the beat than the song . 2 many words for twitter"

And while she did say "usually", it was specifically said in regards to this song's title. She didn't just laugh at that one specific interpretation of the title, she laughed at the concept of her titles ever having any significance.

Lot of possible justifications: She was just being self-deprecating, she couldn't properly explain what she meant in so few characters, this song is one of the exceptions regardless of the timing of her statement, any number of things. To say nothing of the "you can't blame the song for what the artist said about the song" argument (not that such things have stopped me before, or will in the future).

It's just... I was never a big fan of the song anyway. It falls into the "objectively good, but not my kinda thing" category, like... well almost every song at this area of the list, outside of Garfield. I don't know that it even got moved down any; it had a low ranking, I tried to see if I was missing something, and saw her laughing at the very concept of symbolism and felt I saw all I needed to see. If she didn't have a Twitter account, I don't think the song goes up any further in the rankings anyway.
