I was a bit surprised to learn that this song is from 1990, because it feels more like something from the 70s. Like I could turn on the usual Classic Rock stations and hear something very similar. And while I do enjoy it, I was hoping for something further from my comfort zone, so it drops earlier than it probably should have.

Another of the songs that I was at least reasonably familiar with before starting this ranking. It's also significantly better than I remembered it being--or perhaps I've just heard it often enough that it's now too familiar to actually hate.

Track gets a lot of bonus points for the "I don't believe in getting even, but giving what you deserve" line. It's not really a revenge song, but that line alone is close enough that it grabs my interest.

...I know I'm being too literal, but that line never made sense to me. If you gathered up the ashes and then immediately smashed the urn, you'd just be scattering them back onto the ground you picked the ashes up from in the first place. As far as desecrating remains go, it feels like an utter waste of time.
